# Local Development Setup

## Prerequisites

- Go 1.23+
- Node.js 20+ (for frontend apps)
- Docker and Docker Compose
- Make

## Getting Started

1. **Start infrastructure services:**
   ```bash
   docker-compose up -d
   ```

2. **Install dependencies:**
   ```bash
   ./scripts/install.sh
   ```

3. **Start development:**
   ```bash
   ./scripts/dev.sh
   ```

## Environment Variables

Copy `.env.example` files in each component to `.env` and configure as needed.

## Common Tasks

| Task | Command |
|------|---------|
| Run all tests | `./scripts/quality.sh` |
| List components | `./scripts/discover.sh` |
| Lint code | `golangci-lint run ./...` |
